Your Community - Our Action.

🚨🚔 West Lancashire Neighbourhood Policing 🚔🚨 are responding to your community concerns in regards to drug use. As well as targeting drug dealing and executing warrants across the area, we have also been targeting individuals who choose to drive whilst under the influence of drugs or alcohol. This is linked, and in response to, another community concern raised via our InTheKnow system, which is antisocial driving.

From the last few months, the team currently have;

4 people awaiting charge when their blood results come back to determine if they were over or under the prescribed limit.

7 people who have been charged and will be appearing in court.

6 people who have been convicted at court and banned for between 12 and 36 months.

Our Immediate Response and Specialist Operations departments have also made numerous arrests for Drug Driving within that time as well as we continued to clamp down on drivers putting people at risk.
